Southern Feyshore

Capital: Stormalong

Ruling House: None

After the fall of Feyshore and House Ramsalot, South Feyshore fell into ruins. It spent nearly a decade at the hands and mercy of bandits and other ruffians. When finally claims started to fall over the territory, Randall Storm moved in to help eradicate those who did not wish to help restore the land. Anyanka Durkhan, recently exiled from Vincentien, joined the effort to help him win the throne at the Taking of Stormalong. A few months before his coronation, Storm abdicated the throne, and the territory reverted to Durkhan's holdings. Sir Eric Stafford-Storm serves as Protector, having seen South Feyshore through its darkest times and assuring the successful conversion of power between monarchs. The ruins of the once Kingdom of Feyshore, under new leadership and on the path to restoration Its cities have started rebuilding, with several newly appointed houses serving as heads of the South Feyshorian Court, which helps rule the massive territory on behalf of its Queen.

GEOGRAPHY

Stormalong

Stormalong was once the seat of the Ramsalot kings before the fall of Feyshore. The scars of the fall are still visible on the damaged walls and the cobblestone streets that remain cracked from when the city was sacked, but many of the scars have faded under the Lordship of House Stafford. The population of the city once ruled by brutal bandit warlords has rebounded with trade and ships returning to the newly repaired docks. The markets, once empty, are again filled with local traders selling their produce as well as foreign traders pedaling exotic items. Stormalong is a city of cobblestones, large buildings and commerce. While not as beautiful as Zahrada's gardens, the city is filled with history. Many statues of old kings and queens dot the city, many of whom have been forgotten by the denizens. Construction is common within the city, buildings are constantly either being scrapped for materials or being repaired or built in the many empty spaces of the city.

While the once-great city remains scarred, it is no longer destroyed.

Sonder

House Cromwell was previously headed by Robert Cromwell until he took the position of Head Knight in Astoria under Queen Durkhan. Now, his brother James Cromwell holds Sonder, as they had both served as its protectors during the chaotic years following the fall of King Ramsalot. Sonder is an eastern city along the coast, benefiting from the spoils of the sea as well as the rich grasslands that fall to the north of their border.

Alsher

Alsher is a small village that sits on the North-Eastern border of South Feyshore. It's placed in the foothills, and known for its quiet agricultural lifestyle. Alsher is run by House Vignola, lead by Lord Syric and Lady Serafina Vignola, with their heir Sebastian. Crops line the field where the Audemaus ends, and the foothills are often littered with cattle, sheep, and goats. They serve as one of the top distributors of food in South Feyshore.

Knights Landing

The original ruins of the Knights Academy of Feyshore. They have since been partially restored in an effort to use as training grounds for a new generation of knights and soldiers in South Feyshore. Rumored to be haunted, but most likely just recruits playing tricks on the new recruits.

Labour Hunt

When a woman in South Feyshore begins the process of giving birth, it is expected that her husband heads out into the wilderness to hunt down an animal. Once he has succeeded, the husband then returns to his wife. She presents their child, and he presents the fresh kill as food that he is providing for the family.
